Cipher is a reserach and book design project consisting of two books, one outward facing and another inward facing. The outer book shows information about literal keys and locks, while the inner folded book features figurative and metaphorical key and lock mechanisms. This inner section includes chapters on secret societies, ciphers and codes and hidden organisations. The book is bound in a French Fold technique with cut outs throughout the pages to show through the hidden information behind.
